Ok, this is more related to the initial purpose of making this thread than where it is now: I highly recommend the YouTube channel HealthyGamerGG to anyone who feels generally stuck in life, especially after something like leaving the PRC. Seeing therapy for others isn't the same as therapy for yourself, but it still does help. Puzzling but true that there are lots of solid people in the gaming community. Yeah, but this channel isn't about gaming. It's technically geared toward gamers but it's really a public therapy/observations from a psychiatrist channel. |

Anyone familiar with Sarah McDougal? This is a terrific presentation by her packed with information about abusers.
Anyone in leadership should be made to watch this for educational purposes.
But it's also a source of profound clarity for those who can't see clearly and are in the throes of confusion due to prolonged abuse. This is for you. This is to help you understand you are being abused by someone who enjoys abusing you and messing with your head. Your abuser would rather lose the relationship than change their behavior (not surprising that the behavior of the prc and rpc also come to mind here)
If you watch it, I'd love to hear what you thought of it.
