If WE (the PRCA) are truly going to repent of the sins we have committed as a denomination, that includes going to all we have sinned against and repenting to them. Personally as well as publicly. Heidi Woldhuis, I truly believe that if there was a clear biblical way for you to have done this already AND BE HEARD, you would have done it. I hope the interview accomplishes this. You are basically the poster child (being the most public and horrific example) for needing a public apology. If the PRCA does not respond in true repentance, if the consistory of the church you belonged to does not respond this way.... I honestly dont know how to end that sentance. My journey was horrific, but there are many who suffered and still suffer right now as much if not worse. That's what leaves me unable to sleep at night. It's what brought me right back into it. My life was really good when I found my way here. It was peaceful and joyful and now it's joyful and filled with busy chaos. But I'm doing what I MUST do. I tried to reach them. Tried to get them to engage. They literally say NOTHING!! All I got was some secret messages from people not wanting anyone to know they spoke with me and telling me I was wicked, vengeance minded, and needed to be quiet. That doesn't work on me anymore. I am not theirs to control. This is me, walking my faith and listening to what I know is my God. He is not letting me walk away from this. Trust me, if this was just about me, I would never pay this price. It's more than worth it though. Your support is beautiful to me!! May God continue to protect and fight with and for you and for us!!! |

Fairly sure another person posted on this site about people coming to them to remove their Facebook posts. I don't remember who but it was a couple days ago. Yep I saw that post too |

Speaking of posting the link to this website on FB, is "John Engelsma" still posting links to here on his FB page? Forgot all about that. That might actually be how I originally found out about this page many yrs ago but I'm not positive. I just looked it up on Facebook. He is still there |
