Thanks to God, I have never been a member of the Protestant Reformed Church (PRC). But I do sometimes run into people related to it. It has mostly been on Facebook (and I am FB-friends with some of them), but I have also in real life here in Germany, where I live, met some Americans from the PRC.
And to be honest, it was my feeling, that the American PRC people did not come with good intentions. I thought they were emotional and manipulative in the way they explained, what their Church was about. And when asking a PRC pastor a question about monocoventalism he used flattery in his response by saying something like: "But you already understand much".
I have told people around me some of my concerns in order to try to prevent, that they get dragged into it. But my factual knowledge about the PRC is limited. In a search for more knowledge I have today found the website here and have now signed up. My hope is of course, that it will give me access to relevant factual information, that might be helpful preventing others from comming under the influence of the PRC.
