No, this isn't some ceremony at a Masonic Temple; it's the "laying on of hands" part of the PRC's minister-ordination process. Again, tell me this is not a cult or a sect lol Attachments:

I’ve seen the same practice in the Roman Catholic Church. Also seen the soon to be priest laying face down in his robes in the floor for part of that ceremony too. Quite something. I’m lookingforward to the comments here about this practice.

In some religions laying on of hands is a symbol of bestowing the responsibility of spiritual leadership. Certainly we don’t see this action everyday and so it looks somewhat bizarre. Infant baptism can look really unusual too. I wonder if the laying of hands should be done by each member of the congregation. Would that look less or more cult like? It would take a lot longer and would take some of the power away from those higher ups than us prophets priests and kings in the pews

That's nothing compared to the old testament sacrifice laws. Can you imagine if that was done today during services? People would think you were crazy or, ironically, satanic.
No, we don't do them because we've become more civilized, we just don't need that picture anymore. 🤨

He said something about classis taking off their clothes and doing acts of sodomy in front of everyone in church. It had to do with them defending the lie so that's the comparison he made. That's probably happens when your brain rots from extreme indoctrination.

Again, tell me this is not a cult or a sect lol So, now a new cult is spawned. Who will be the CultiestMcCultface of the two. I Just reread the signs of being in a cult. I still hold out the prca is a sect, but the signs definitely are warranted in the prc. I expect the nascent RPC to give them a run for their money though. I feel so sorry for the kids, they don't deserve this. Also, how arrogant of these two herds to claim THEY know the mind of God over and above all the other denominations and individuals. The "purest" doctrine being preached is their claim with the only evidence given being... "we were told so, so I told YOU so." I know very few prs who know anything in depth about other denominations, yet are fully confident THEY know the mind of God better than all other churches. The pride and arrogance is mind boggling, the ignorance delusional, the emotional abuse disgusting and cruel. They've created a capricious god, a bigoted god, an ethnic favoring god, a god unto themselves... vangodstra

You and all your VanGodstra worshipping kin will burn in hell for all eternity for your evil theologies that exclude the 'Den' prefix. I'll still visit one of your churches from time to time though when I'm on vacation because there are no VanDenGodstra churches near Gulf Shores.

I think this is the right sermon? I know it's on sermon audio somewhere sermonaudio.com/sermon/21221157515502 That's the correct link. Around the 28:00 minute mark. The link is not linked, but you can cut and paste it. Alright, thanks for that. I'd fall asleep if I had to listen to it until I heard the line in question.

The pure sound of the surf never lies or purports to get naked and have homosexual sex in front of the sealife congregation.
