What do you think? Is just being on the membership roles mean your Pr or Rp or do you think it's just a label and someone has to have a love for their church and be involved to truly wear that label? In the past I would have liked to be more involved with the prc but felt like I wasn't given the chance as in they wouldn't let me be involved except to sit in the pew and listen to what others tell me to do. Now I want no part of that church. It's all I'll say about myself for annomyity but if you feel like giving me your opinion go ahead.

On another note though, being PR is definitely a lifestyle. You live your life according to their set standards and rules... yes! Yes! Yes! I was just thinking that…PR has a set of external standards that everyone can see….and internal standards that one can understand but also rationalize away so that it’s ok this one time or it’s not a salvation issue… PR is DEFINITELY a lifestyle

The PRC gives people a set rule for lifestyle too - it's one more hurdle to get past. It's way easier to sleep in a pew instead of thinking for yourself. The PRC is on autopilot. And look what happens when a "reverend" gets nailed for sex abuse. They hardly move the dial to change. Why? Lifestyle. That's why.

Feel free to find the "user names" thread and tell us why you chose your user name ☺🤣 Wo! So friendly! Definitely not PRish. It's almost like those forced lunches with ham buns was the norm! I'll check it out!
