“The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”
Morpheus, The Matrix
How do we save these people if they can’t unplug and separate themselves from the system?
Have you seen any direct connection between any of your posts and one person unplugging from this matrix?
If you are still part of the PR/RP matrix what would have to happen to you for you to unplug you and yours from the PR/RP matrix?
If you have unplugged from the PR/RP matrix do you believe that the system is the enemy and do you believe that the people in that system are your enemies?

To me:
the Enemy is death/grave and interpersonal rejection.
PR System, just like many other systems I have been or still might be plugged in to, is operating as if the enemy could still take over and get full power.
No person plugged in the PR system is an enemy.
I don't have to do any saving, just keep living out my hope that reality has processed an event that has already defeated the enemy. And keep talking about my hope, bc many Systems of fear are still operating, and many people haven't been informed (or the time isn't really ripe for some to fully comprehend) the good news that the Enemy is defanged permanently

It would be interesting to see the ratio of PRC members who have seen The Matrix even though their leaders preach against Hollywood. It is true, however, that they won't see even how this movie applies while still in the PRC Matrix. The PRC has done an incredible job shielding their members using fear, "wickedness", "evil", so that those even reading this won't fully understand until they themselves have walked away. Of course, that's what cults do. They warp your mind so you become a foot soldier and you don't even know it.

That's one of the ironic things about the Matrix movie - so many different groups have used it to justify their own views as the "true red pill". Its too easy to say the "other" is just blissfully unaware. Also, as many of us have experienced, there are levels of awareness and each day is a choice to see beyond the veils of what we have been taught. I guess what I mean is, if only it was as easy as taking a pill.

I guess what I mean is, if only it was as easy as taking a pill. True, it certainly is an allegorical film and the subject(s) of the allegory is uncertain, and readily absorbed by many groups, but how cool is it to dodge bullets? However, I think there are direct connections between posts on this site and disconnection from the PR system. Maybe not Hollywood style, but it has happened, a nudge, a confirmation of likewise doubts and experiences, a realization of not being alone...more of a time released pill. It is certain in my mind these thousands of posts are not in vain and play a part in many different forms of disconnection from the PRCA. How many can no longer say, "ignorance is bliss"?
