I do not see the similarities. The article is talking about how the Roman Catholics are becoming accepting of things like contraceptives, homosexuality, divorce, cohabitation before marriage etc. I see no similarity in these things with the PRC. In fact, I see the exact opposite. Maybe I missed your point?

In fact, I see the exact opposite. Maybe I missed your point? Yeah I see no similarities either. They both teach that these things are wrong... but how to deal with it after that is 100% different.
